I’m Maryam Ebtekar, a Melbourne-based visual artist and Industrial Design graduate. Drawing on my Persian heritage, I shape recycled and humble materials into sculptural and wearable artworks.

My practice is guided by transformation, embracing unexpected changes, letting the material lead, and revealing new forms along the way. I make the precious from the ordinary. Through this process, I explore resilience, renewal, and the beauty found in change.
